My question is this... can a person create a nothingness in another person?

an emptiness in them that longs to be filled...

or do they really just make that other person "aware" of an emptiness inside that already existed

that was there all along...

but they were just unaware of...

and were then made to only just recently realize there was something missing, even though it had been missing all along?
